In Zurich District 4, a woman was hit by a concrete mixer on Friday evening. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.

On Friday evening at 5 p.m., a concrete mixer collided with a cyclist on Badenerstrasse when turning onto Seebahnstrasse in the crossing area. The woman succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene of the accident, according to a police statement. Her identity is not yet clear.
The Zurich Forensic Institute and the Zurich City Police Accident Technical Service are investigating how the accident happened. Pictures show how the woman’s racing bike is totally demolished on the ground. The accident happened just before the “Critical Mass”, a Velodemo, which fights, among other things, for safer roads.
