Square Enix today released the brand new strategy RPG The Dio Field Chronicle for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). The Dio Field Chronicle offers an in-depth, strategic, real-time combat system, also known as “Real-Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB), in which players** and enemy troops move in real time and the course of battle can take a dramatic turn in the blink of an eye. The narrative takes place in a unique world with a dark and exciting story that mixes fantasy with medieval and modern elements.

Players can also download a free demo version for all platforms. Save data from the demo, including game progress and character levels, will carry over to the full version, allowing you to seamlessly continue your missions with the Blue Foxes mercenary force once you’ve purchased the game. The demo spans the beginning of the game through the end of the first chapter and features fast-paced and action-packed combat in which you command small troops in various combat types. Each one of them takes on a unique role on the battlefield.

The Dio Field Chronicle was developed by Square Enix together with Lancarse Ltd. developed by a team of experienced strategy game developers. The Diofield Chronicle shines with unique character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), Artwork by Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII) and beautiful orchestral music by world-renowned composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, who composed the soundtrack for game of Thrones are known.

The Dio Field Chronicle is available now for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
