concept of a smartphone without charging
The Oppo Reno8 Pro touches users’ lives with a truly instinctive visual and wearable feel. The brand’s designers observed how people hold and interact with their phones. This research gave rise to the concept of creating a no-load device – a simplified and ergonomic design. A key element was the design of the camera area, which on the one hand helps to shape the unibody and on the other hand improves the usability of the smartphone.
The entire back of the phone is covered with a single piece of glass to gently wrap around the camera module
The entire back of the phone is covered with a single piece of glass. For the camera module, in particular, this ensures no abrupt transition in tactility for the user or dust accumulation around joints of different materials. In a process that reaches up to 800°C in temperature and 120kg in pressure, the glass is forged and shaped using a mold polished to an extra eight nanometers for the smoothest finishes. The result creates a smooth arc with glass to enclose the camera module in one continuous piece.

When the user holds the smartphone, the curvature of the glass unibody adapts perfectly to their fingertips. The camera module has been positioned using a 75 degree arc that connects it to the surrounding back cover. Appearing to float out of the water, the lens sits prominently in the top left of the camera. Its macro camera and color temperature sensor along with the Ring Flash design are dialed into the module. The all-in-one structure provides a design with a natural and burden-free user experience.

Taking a closer look at the design details, a small bevel cut on the center frame reduces the crisp feel experienced when holding the phones normally. This subtle tail ensures an elegant appearance. The ultra-narrow bezels of the 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED Ultra-Clear display are visually complemented by 2.37mm lower and 1.48mm lower bezels on the side. The result compensates for the overflowing appearance caused by the combination of the curved screen and the right-angled central frame. The highly immersive viewing experience is enhanced by the 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. On top of that, the OPPO Reno8 pro is the thinnest model in the series so far at just 7.34mm.

All-new color finishes dress up the design
The next generation design is adapted in the next set of fresh colors introduced in the Reno series. From dreamy tones to cool vibes, the new color finishes for Reno8 Pro offer more stylish options. Inspired by porcelain glaze techniques, the two choices – Glazed Green and Glazed Black – dress up a soothing, soothing character that also redefines the traditional black finish of smartphones.
